The tradition of Dia de Ñoquis — the Day of Gnocchi is pretty simple. The 29th of the month was just before payday, money was tight and all that was left in the larder was potatoes and flour. Gnocchi (or ñoquis) was the perfect solution. For extra luck and prosperity, the tradition is that everyone at the table gets a peso coin or note under their dinner plate. Available every Monday throughout winter.

We wanted to take this beautiful tradition and bring it to San Telmo as a special every Monday, by donating $2 for every plate of gnocchi sold to STREETSMART a local charity to raise funds and awareness to bring about change for people experiencing homelessness. Every plate of gnocchi makes a difference. Special available every Monday until sold out.
