A little info on our three venues…..
At San Telmo we are inspired by a love of Argentine food, wine, vivacious lifestyle and rich culture, our menu follows the Argentine tradition of sharing food with friends, colleagues and family. We have partnered with Melbourne Food and Wine fFestival for over 4 years. The Parrilla (imported Argentine charcoal grill) is the focal point of our cuisine, imparting a unique flavour to the dishes. The restaurant’s interior is a meeting of old world Argentine Bodega, and Melbourne style open-plan dining where the kitchen is an intimate part of the atmosphere. Appointed with imported cow hides, 300 year old antique doors and historic 1930’s coloured glass soda bottles from the suburb of San Telmo, you will feel instantly transported to Buenos Aires.
Pastuso, a modern peruvian grill, cevicheria and pisco bar taking you on exciting journey of discovery through the coast, andes and the jungle of peru’s beautiful food and culture. Pastuso, takes its name from Paddington Bear who was originally an orphan bear from Lima before he was sent to England. Parts of the story resonated with the journey of our ideas and inspiration from Lima coming to the western world and how it adapts and is received. We also found synergy with the motto from the tag that his Aunty put on his wrist before sending him off with the message “please look after this bear” and this has been adapted onto our business cards as a reminder to all of us about what hospitality is truly all about, looking after the customer! PALERMO LOGO (with website link) Continuing on the legacy of two of the CBD’s most revered restaurants, vibrant younger sister Palermo borrows from San Telmo’s boisterous old-world charm, fusing it with a nonchalant new-world chic and penchant for the flamboyant. With its mouth-watering modern menu crafted for the carnivorous, Palermo fuses a contemporary twist with the age-old Argentinean tradition of sharing the finest Parrilla charcoal-grilled cuisine with friends, family and lovers.
Pastuso is also a a proud partner of Melbourne food and Wine Festival.
