San Telmo is excited to launch a new series of dinners that feature traditional Argentinian cuisine, travel tips for the best places to eat, drink and shop in Buenos Aires and a short course in Spanish phrases you will need when dining out and seeing the sights.

Learn about the classic dishes of Argentina as Head Chef Stephen Clark prepares a menu of San Telmo favourites while Emilia Flotts takes you on a journey through Buenos Aires.

Even if you’re not planning a trip to BA anytime soon, come along and join the fun! 

$120 per person for a 3 course menu with matched wines.

Menu

Empanada: Beef, egg and olive
Provoleta: Fried provolone cheese, dried oregano, dried chilli, pepper and lemon

Parrillada – Traditional Argentinian mixed grill
Tira de asado: Premium beef short ribs
Chorizo: Pork and beef sausage
Morcilla: Traditional blood sausage
Vacío: Premium flank steak

Lechuga: Seasonal leaves, herbs, shallot, red wine and garlic vinaigrette
Papas : Peruvian potatoes, salsa provenzal and fried capers
Zanahorias: Burnt carrots, hazelnut pecada, thyme and garlic goats curd

Flan: Dulce de leche crème caramel with salted peanut praline
Alfajor: Argentine shortbread cookie filled with dulce de leche
